Terms of Use

What the service is — and isn't

• NMC Ad Guide checks advertising text and images against our reading of the NMC Guidelines on Ethical Advertising and Public Communication (Public Notice No. R-13014/01/2024-Ethics, dated 6 October 2026) and suggests changes.
• It is independent. MEDVYN is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the National Medical Commission or any State Medical Council.
• It is automated guidance, not legal advice. Reports can miss problems, flag things that are acceptable in context, or be affected by facts we can't see. Always read the official notice, and take professional advice where it matters.
• You remain responsible for what you publish. A clean report is not an approval, and — as the guidelines note in clause 4.4 — using an agency or a tool does not shift that responsibility.

Your account

• Give accurate details — including a mobile number and city where we can reach you — and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be 18 or older and using the service for professional purposes.
• Tell us at support@medvyn.in if you think your account has been misused.

Your content

• You keep all rights to what you submit. You give us permission to store and process it — including sending it to our AI provider — only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Only submit content you're entitled to use. Don't upload information that identifies patients; blur faces and remove names first.
• You may use the reports and suggested wording freely in your own work.

Fair use

• Image checks are limited to the checks on your account — 2 free with every account, plus any you buy (see Pricing and billing). Text checks have no per-account limit, but we may slow down or block automated or excessive use to keep the service available.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, get around its limits, or use it to process content unrelated to healthcare advertising.
• We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Pricing and billing

• Plans. Free: 2 image checks per account, no expiry. Starter: ₹299 once for 10 image checks, valid for 60 days from payment. Monthly: ₹699 per month for 30 image checks each billing month, valid until the end of that month. Current prices are on the Pricing page. Plans cover image checks only — text checks are free.
• Prices include GST and are charged in Indian rupees. Prices may change; a change never affects checks you have already bought.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets). We don't see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Checks are added to your account once the payment is confirmed.
• Monthly renews automatically at the end of each billing month, charging the payment method you authorised, until you cancel. Cancel any time from your Account page (or by emailing us); cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, with no further charges.
• Expiry and order of use. Checks from different purchases add up; the ones that expire soonest are used first. Checks expire at the end of their validity and don't carry over. A check that fails to complete doesn't use a credit.
• Refunds. Checks that have been used are not refundable, and we don't refund part-months. If a payment failed but money was debited, or you were charged twice, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it to the original payment method. Details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, penalty or regulatory action arising from content you publish or from reliance on a report.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms or change, pause or end the service. We'll update the date above when the terms change; continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms. You can stop using it and ask us to delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the service.
